National Technical Honor Society

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is the honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE). As a national non-profit student organization, NTHS has been recognizing outstanding student achievement in CTE since 1984. Having served over one million members in secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country and beyond, NTHS continues to support the next generation of skilled workers and leaders through chapter activities built around our Core Four Objectives of career development, leadership development, service, and recognition.

Skills USA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. SkillsUSA empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. SkillsUSA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics. SkillsUSA produces the most highly skilled workforce in the world, providing every member the opportunity for career success

HOSA

HOSA is a global student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services and several federal and state agencies. HOSA’s mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience. HOSA actively promotes career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to affiliate and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

FCCLA

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a career and technical student organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues. Through participation in competitive events, becoming involved in community service opportunities, student leadership, and attending leadership conferences, members develop real world skills, explore career pathways, and become college and career ready.

Important 2026-2027 National Honor Society Updates

The Advisors and Faculty Council of Baldwin Preparatory Academy are committed to ensuring our National Honor Society chapter reflects the unique characteristics of our school while maintaining alignment with local base schools. As part of this ongoing effort, several updates will be implemented beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, the selection and induction of new members will take place during the fall semester. Eligible candidates will include juniors and seniors who have earned a minimum 3.50 cumulative unweighted GPA.

Prospective members can review this information on their grade-level Google Classroom and during an interest and information meeting in May 2026. Additional details regarding the application and selection process will be published at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
